We got our July Loot Crate today. Husby would say his Loot Crate, but I enjoy the unboxing just as much and have my eye on every t-shirt he’s received so far.
Loot Crate is a monthly gear and swag club for those that live and embrace the geek and gaming lifestyle. Each month, Loot Crate handpicks 6-8 new items to include in the box, based on a particular theme.
This month’s theme is Villains! I knew it was going to be another fun one, but hadn’t seen any spoilers. WE were pleasantly surprised.
The very first thing we saw when we opened the box was the t-shirt. Husby picked it up and at first didn’t get it. We immediately recognized it as The Joker but it was just…off. Husby chalked it up to Loot Crate not being able to get the license to do an actual Joker shirt, but then we really looked at it. JOKI! Like…Joker and Loki! Ahhh!!! So cool. We love this t-shirt. Ahem. He loves this t-shirt.
After the t-shirt the other box loot was just icing on the cake, especially for my comic book loving husband. Included this month was Deadpool socks, a Darth Vader key chain, a Bowser magnet, a DVD of DC Villains and a Rocket Raccoon comic book. Rocket Raccoon is featured in Guardians of the Galaxy – a movie coming out this summer.
All of this was well and good, but then I reminded Husby to have a look at the poster he put aside when he opened the box. And behold, my favorite item in this month’s Loot Crate.
It’s a Joker/Harley Quinn poster! Ahhh!!! No, really. I love Harley Quinn. This poster can be two separate posters, as it’s perforated, but who am I to come between Joker and Harley? If I can, I will frame them together. It will go perfect next to my Alice in Wonderland poster from Gencon 2010.

This looks so cool! I hadn’t heard of this before, thank you for sharing!
It took me a minute to sub the box. Father’s Day was just the kick in the pants I needed. 😀
